Awareness Activities for the Visual Music Meditations
Introduction
Colorful stories full of adventures are presented to lead the participant into magical realms to make life more peaceful, happy, and successful. These are designed to aid entrance into lower brainwave frequencies of alpha relaxation. Theta is a much deeper state of semi-consciousness. Beta is the frequency of daily activity, and high beta occurs when a person is stressed, in pain, or upset emotionally. The first nine Visual Music Meditations are meant to be enjoyed by children under ten years old. There are benefits to be gained from all the meditations. The Five Visual Music Meditations Empowerment Ceremonies are better suited for adults. These assist greater inner control and aid the alignment with a Higher Knowing.

Core Philosophy and Science of the Visual Music Meditations
Scientific research has proved that all thoughts, feelings, and actions hold energy. It is impossible for an upsetting, lower energy thought to be expressed at the same time as a high energy thought. It is important to practice concentrating on loving thoughts to crowd out harmful thoughts, feelings, and outcomes. Several types of therapy are incorporated in the delightful Visual Music Meditations.
The mind works like a computer. If you believe something you have heard, your mind puts that information into your body’s computer or unconscious mind. The science of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) creates a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind to release undesirable thoughts, emotions, attitudes, and actions. The mind acts as a magnet, drawing to it similar energies. It is said, “The things we think about, we tend to bring about.”
The imagery in the Visual Music Meditations brings constructive pictures to recreate core beliefs. Destructive beliefs can be reprogrammed in the mental computer and allow the person to accept the blessings that life has to offer. What a person thinks about directs their emotions, stress level, health, and productivity.
When a person’s mind becomes filled with thoughts of love, actions of kindness toward oneself and others result. This attracts the outworking of the mind’s focus to build healthy relationships. Every thought has an energy frequency that is attracting helpful or harmful experiences. Thoughts are connected to feelings and hold vibrations that affect the person’s mental, physical health, and well-being. Inner regulation and goal setting is an essential factor in dream fulfilment. Suggestions for successful living are given in the Visual Music Awareness Activities. For example: Write down one principal goal in life. Then list six related goals and six obstacles keeping you from attaining these goals, with solutions for each obstacle.
Art Therapy has helped many individuals with emotional and brain dysfunction. It gives a process to reach into the inner world of thoughts and feelings for improved communication and learning skills. Drawing a picture of the imagery immediately following a meditation is an excellent form of Art Therapy. This is also a tool for enhanced communication by reducing stress and creating freedom of expression.
No matter what age a person is, there are challenges in building relationships. Kids can be harsh towards someone who is different. Since social situations start early in life, everyone needs self-love to protect their feelings and interact with others. The fear of getting hurt or rejected can create inhibitions that block a person’s ability to try new relationships. Inner discipline is needed to regulate the emotional reactions one has to the actions of others. Since we can’t control others, we need to control how we respond. The lower vibration of anger stops the flow of joy and love. To reach a care-free state, anger must be released at those who didn’t understand or return our feelings. The imagery in Visual Music Meditations focuses on redeeming qualities that can release the lower energy of fear, anger, unforgiveness, and self-doubt. Guilt is a destructive emotion that causes the person to dwell on the past. Worry pulls the focus of attention in harmful ways into the future. Neither of these processes allows the person to focus on doing their best in the present moment. Painful emotions keep you from being your best.
Guilt is another self-destructive lower vibrational emotion. Self-condemnation and unforgiveness toward yourself for the things you have said or have done is destructive. Decide to care for yourself and set boundaries. Know you are a worthy individual deserving of love. This self-assured energy will attract loving relationships. Giving with an open heart doesn’t mean you are letting your self-concept become dependent on someone else’s opinion and their capacity to love
Color Therapy, also known as Chromotherapy, is an alternative medical approach that uses the energy frequency of various colors to enhance communication and concentration, decrease pain, and regulate sleep. Visual Music Meditations use the positive energy of colors to release harmful feelings, and achieve one’s best intentions and follow through. Color Therapy has proved that each color has a specific frequency and vibration which triggers hormones and creates biochemical changes in the body. These energy waves keep the body balanced and provide harmonious emotions. Visual Music Meditations utilize imagery and breath control. Relaxed breathing patterns can calm the nervous system, which controls the body’s involuntary functions to lower blood pressure and heart rate. “Color Therapy” by Reuben Amber gives specific applications in our food, clothing, and light for ways color can create a balance within ourselves and our environment.
There is a Spiritual component of the Visual Music Meditations that relates to Hindu and Buddhist teachings of the energy field around the body called Chakras, This teaches all people have seven basic Chakras starting at the base of the spine: These are the Root male protective energy Chakra, Sacral female nurturing energy Chakra, Solar Plexus personal power Chakra, Heart unconditional love Chakra, Throat expression Chakra, Brow wisdom Chakra, and the Crown connection Chakra. Keeping these cleared of lower balanced energetic thoughts and feelings is related to a person’s well-being. The last four Visual Music Meditations are Ceremonies based on these concepts that help individuals reach their full potential and higher purpose in life. I recommend “The Book of Chakra Healing” by Liz Simpson. In his book “Breath, Mind and Consciousness,” Harish Johari shows a direct link between the practice of conscious breathing and the electro-chemical balance of the brain and nervous system. The alternating nostril breathing technique to balance Solar and Lunar forces improved my reversals from dyslexia and helped me attune to natural rhythms and universal laws.
Gemstone Therapy is a natural way to improve your health using minerals and crystals. It is an ancient technique for relieving pain by harmonizing and balancing the energy field. Wearing gemstones is not associated with any specific religion or culture. Each gemstone has its own list of healing properties to clear energetic blocks that cause poor health. Certain gemstones are recognized to reduce stress and give a calming, grounding effect. Others have a stimulating effect to improve the flow of energy for revitalization. “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons is an excellent resource.
Indigenous people have learned from animals throughout history. Animal totems or Spirit Animals represent the characteristics of the person to reveal life lessons. Since animals teach specific lessons, they can enhance the healing value of each quality related to the Visual Music Meditation. “Animals-Speak: The Spiritual and Magical Powers of Creators Great and Small” by Ted Andrews includes a dictionary of animal, bird, and reptile symbolism.
There are teachings in many ancient cultures that Light Beings from Celestial Realms guide humanity’s lives and aid our growth. Patt Lind-Kyle’s book “Neko and Me” is a fairytale for young and old that combines timeless ancient wisdom with fun and fantasy. The concepts in the four Visual Music Meditation Ceremonies relate to Patt and Neko’s discovery of the meaning of life from a Star Being.
